Certmat Rixia workspace — back-end development learning environment
About Certmat Rixia

Where back-end
knowledge gets
tested.

Certmat Rixia started as a community-focused platform for developers in Kharkiv who wanted more than reading docs. We built interactive quizzes, real scenario challenges, and instant feedback loops — because knowing theory and being able to apply it under pressure are two different things.

A platform built from frustration

Most online resources for back-end development give you content to consume. Certmat Rixia was designed around a different idea — that you only really understand something when you have to defend your answer. Every quiz on the platform forces you to reason through edge cases, not just recall syntax.

We work closely with the Kharkiv developer community, gathering feedback from local engineers and students to keep our question sets grounded in what actually matters on the job. The gamified structure keeps things from feeling like homework without sacrificing depth.

Back-end development environment background

How we structure learning

Each topic on Certmat Rixia is broken into short, focused challenge sets. No long-form lectures — just problems that require you to think, choose, and see immediately where your reasoning held up.

Scenario-based questions

Questions drawn from real back-end situations — race conditions, query optimization, auth flows.

Each scenario is reviewed by practicing engineers before publishing.

Instant explanations

Every answer — right or wrong — comes with a clear explanation of the reasoning behind it.

Explanations link to deeper reading when the topic warrants it.

Since founding 2021

Certmat Rixia has been refining its question bank continuously, removing outdated items and adding new ones as the back-end ecosystem changes.

Kharkiv-based, community-reviewed, engineer-tested.

Gamification without gimmicks

Points and streaks exist on the platform, but they are secondary to the actual feedback. The goal is to make repeated practice feel less like a chore — not to replace the substance with rewards.

Progress tracking

See which topics you consistently get right and where gaps keep appearing across sessions.

Progress data is stored locally — no account required to start.

Community submissions

Local developers can submit question ideas that go through a review process before joining the active pool.

Accepted submissions are credited to the contributor in the module notes.
